Steven Alexander Ball passed away peacefully at Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound on Sept. 21, 2020, a day before his 55th birthday.
He will be deeply missed by his mother Rita Ball and his two sons, Ryan Ball and Adam Ball.
Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews: Katrina Smiley (Michael Crossley), Natasha Smiley and RJ Smiley (Alicia Boyd)
Predeceased by his sister Amanda Alexander (née Ball, 2014) and his father Robert (Bob) Ball (2018).
Steven was born at St. Joseph Hospital in Toronto on Sept. 22, 1965. As a youth, he spent many years playing hockey, until his love grew for cars and motorcycles. He completed elementary school at Ripley Public School then graduated from KDSS and moved onto a career in auto mechanics.
Steven was a car enthusiast. He loved visiting with friends at his garage, and taking care of their vehicles over the years. He took great pleasure in fishing and walking the beach with his beloved pup, Roxy, until she passed.
The family is extremely grateful to the doctors and nurses at GBHS for their care in such a challenging time.
Cremation has taken place.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
