Gladys Evelyn McCallum (née Smith), of Kincardine, died suddenly at Grey Bruce Health Services - Owen Sound, on Monday, Nov. 17, 2008, in her 57th year. 

Beloved wife of George McCallum. 

Dear mother of Ken F. Robertson (Kelli Kitson), of Dryden; Cindy (Murray) Collins, of Port Elgin; Mike McCallum, of Kincardine; and Michelle (Stephen) Deschamps, of London. Sadly missed by her grandchildren: Nancy Collins, Brandon and Hunter Deschamps, Leeanne Morton, and Jace and Trey Kitson. 

Loved sister of Fred Smith, of Grande Prairie, Alberta; June Lowry (Andy Allan), of Wingham; and Wendy Hall (Keith Forrester), of Whitechurch.

Margaret Dickson Reid "Dot" (née McKay) , of Kincardine, died at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre - Kincardine on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008, in her 92nd year. 

Beloved wife of Irving Reid. Dear mother of Don (Gloria) Dickson, of Richmond Hill. Also survived by step-sons Terry (Marlene) Reid, and Kevin (Sandra) Reid, all of Kincardine.  

Predeceased by her husband Carl Dickson; her son Orville Dickson; and her brother Alvin (Angie) McKay. 

Sadly missed by her grandchildren: Darryl Dickson, Kim (Paul) Lagozny, Kelly Dickson, Nick Reid (Nicole MacKay), Troy (Laura) Reid, Victoria Reid, Michael Reid; as well as by great-grandchildren Jordan and Noah Lagozny.  

Visitation was held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, on Monday, Nov. 10, 2008 from 12 noon until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m., with Maurice Close officiating. 

Interment Kincardine Cemetery.

Jeanne Catharine Fischer (née Pearson), of Point Clark and formerly of Listowel, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008, in her 60th year. 

Jeanne was born on Oct. 22, 1949 to parents George and Isabel Pearson. Jeanne married Don Fischer , 42 years ago, on Sept. 24, 1966 in Ethel, Ontario. 

Beloved wife and best friend of Don, of Point Clark; and dear mother of Laurie (Dwayne) Raynard, of Blyth; and Steven, of Brussels. Special Nana to Alexandra, Joshua and Emma Raynard.

Lloyd George Clark, of R.R. 4, Kincardine, died at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre- Kincardine on Friday, Oct. 24, 2008, in his 80th year.

Beloved husband of Jessie (née Bell). Dear father of Marilyn Smith, of Guelph; Murray (Doris) Clark, of R.R.4 Kincardine; Barbara Clark, of Kincardine; Betty (Mike) Weinstein, of Fergus; and Joyce (Paul) Cotter, of Fergus.

Sadly missed by grandchildren: Brent and Shane Cotter, Erin and Graydon Clark, Alex and Dayle Smith, and Janet and Melanie Weinstein.

Loved brother of Lynn (Helen) Clark, of Chatham. Sadly missed by brother-in-law Allan (Peggy) Bell, of Durham; and sisters-in-law, Edith (Peter) Matthews, of Vancouver; and Wilma Bell, of Toronto.

Frank R. Barkwell, of Kincardine, passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre - Kincardine, on Oct. 10, 2008, aged 83.

Born in Ashfield Township on May 28, 1925 to the late Gilbert Barkwell and Evelyne Hamilton.

Beloved husband of Helen Barkwell (Smith). Frank and Helen were married in Ripley on Oct. 23, 1948.

Survived by siblings Mae Smith, Jack (Audrey) Barkwell, Dave (Nancy) Barkwell and Lloyd Barkwell. Frank was brother-in-law to George Taylor, Marjorie Brooks and Wes and Margaret Smith, and is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by siblings Irene Button, Alice Taylor and Robert Barkwell.

Aug. 6, 1938 - Sept. 30, 2008

John Davies, of R.R. #2, Ripley, died suddenly in Kincardine on September 30, 2008.

Dearly loved husband of Laura, his wife of 41 years. Loving father of Alexander, Andrew (Marina) and Tara (Paul). Greatly missed by grandsons: A.J. and Jack Davies.

Also survived by sister, Andrea Emmerton niece, Jennifer; and nephew, Patrick (Misty) Emmerton and their children, Patrick and Katie. John will also be missed by the Lariviere family in Timmins, and relatives in Scotland and Ireland.

Predeceased by his parents Glyndwr (Ken) and Meg Davies.

He lived life to the fullest; where it started in Doagh, Ireland and finished in Kincardine. His final stop reminded him of the things he enjoyed the most and where family came together for special occasions. These special times will never be forgotten, and his spirit will always remain with us.

Frederick (Fred) E. Webster, Second World War veteran, died after a brief but valiant battle with cancer at University Hospital, London, on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008, with his wife of 58 years, Jean (Austin) Webster by his side.

Loved father of Anne (Peter) Barnes; Lee (Margaret) Webster; Susan (Lin) Peters; Stephen (Carrie) Webster; Norman Webster; and John (Joy) Webster.  Beloved grandfather of Susan, LeeAnne, Jacquie, Lee, Krista, Derek, Joshua, Mackenzie and Victor. Great grandfather to Ryan, Kayla, Megan, Cameron, Harley and Taya.

Tillie (née Horpynuik) Laschuk, of Kincardine and formerly of Smooth Rock Falls, died at Trillium Court, on Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008, in her 98th year. 

Beloved wife of the late Louis Laschuk. 

Dear mother of Stella Drolet (Jack Muszynski), of Kincardine; Daisy (Terry) Burnett, of Mississauga; and James (Sally) Laschuk, of Kincardine. Loved "Baba" of Danny (Richard), Adele (Ron), Norman (Lyne), Steven (Nicole), Greg (Sharon), Dennis (Lisa Windover), and Julie (Steve Moschenross); and "great-baba" of Christine (Mark), Marc, Isabelle, Nicolas, Michael, Bryan and Danielle. 

Predeceased by her son-in-law Armand Drolet, her brother Harry (Annie) Horpynuik, and her sister Helen (Harry) Holub.

Gladys Arnold (McCosh) beloved wife of the late William "Bill" Arnold of Ripley passed away at Trillium Court, Kincardine on Sunday, August 17, 2008, in her 104th year.
Born on March 8, 1905 in Huron Township to the late Matilda "Tillie" (Orr) and Robert McCosh, she is survived by daughter Joyce (Jim) McEwan of Kincardine, three grandsons, James (Barbara) McEwan of Etobicoke, Kenneth (Marian) McEwan of Chatham and Alexander McEwan of Calgary; five great grandchildren, Ian, Colin, Sarah, Brett and James McEwan; one niece and three nephews. Predeceased by son Gordon (1962) and two siblings, Donald McCosh and Olive Knight.
