It is with profound sadness that we bring the news of the passing of Anne Vicki Brockway (née Morris) on Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018, at the age of 53. Following a year-long illness, Anne left us in the way she lived - with dignity, grace, warmth, wit and love.

 

Anne will be ever loved and missed by her husband Felix and beloved children John and Rachel; her mother Eileen Morris; her brother Jim Morris and sister-in-law Josie; her sisters Helen Tovey (Steve Crossley) and Lorna Carston (Clayton Lemay);and her many nieces and nephews.

Jennett “Jennie” MacDonald (née Lamont) of Kincardine passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 17, 2018, in her 74th year.

 

Cherished wife of Ken MacDonald.

 

Loving sister of Lloyd (Muriel) of Kincardine, George of Kincardine, Alvin of Kincardine, Archie (Virginia) of Kincardine, Kevin (Darlene) of Tiverton, Elmer (Marg) of Kincardine, Gladys Wylds of Kincardine and Betty MacDonald of London.

 


MEL McGUIGAN

 

Melbourne “Mel” John Gerald Jerome Haggin McGuigan of Inverhuron passed away peacefully at his home, on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at the age of 80.

 

Loving partner of Jeanne Morris for 33 years.

 

Cherished forever by his son Mel Junior, stepdaughter Kelly (Jamie) and stepson Trevor (Zoe). Very much loved by his grandchildren: Kailey, Lauren, Josie, Jackson and Leo.

 

Loving uncle to Paula, Marion and Mark.

 


DONALD TRAVISS

 

Donald Traviss passed away peacefully at his home in Kincardine, surrounded by his family, on Friday, March 2, 2018, in his 82nd year.

 

Beloved husband of Sharon for 52 years.

 

Loving father of Shelley Miller (Dan - deceased) and Sheila Stabler (Mark).


CHARLIE MATHESON

May 18, 1961 - Feb. 13, 2018

 

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Charles John Matheson (more affectionately known as “Charlie”), of Sherwood Park, Alberta, on Feb. 13, 2018, at the age of 56.

 

He will be remembered by his loving spouse Darlene Gulka.

 

Sadly missed by his mother Eileen and by his brothers: Allan (Sandra) and their daughter Kelly, Murdoch, John D. and his daughters Jessica and Lyndsey, Billy (Laura) and their daughters Lucy and Louisa and Donny (Rhonda) and their son Dylan.

 


DARLENE HILLIARD

 

Darlene Shirley Grace Hilliard of Kincardine passed away suddenly at the London Health Sciences Centre-Victoria Hospital on Thursday, March 1, 2018, in her 75th year.

 

Cherished wife of James “Jim” Wade.

 

Also missed by her many friends throughout the Kincardine community.

 

Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Gladys “Jean” Hilliard (née Claque) and her brother Darryl Hilliard (2017).

Jeannine Marie Anne Gionet, passed away peacefully at Trillium Court in Kincardine on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018, at the age of 87.

 

Beloved wife of the late George Gionet.

 

Loving mother to Paul (Susanne) Gionet of Kincardine.

 


GERRY BEADLE

Geraldine Pearl Beadle, of Kincardine, passed away at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine, on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, in her 93rd year.

Cherished wife of the late Herb Beadle (1987).

Loving mother of Karon (Bob) Eaid and Sue (Jim) Coverley, all of Kincardine.

Missed by grandchildren Heather, Sarah, Noah, Victoria, David, Michael, Paul, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.


WANDA MAE WYLD

 

Wanda Mae Wyld (Appleyard), beloved wife of the late Allan Elmer Wyld, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018, at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie, at the age of 91.

 

Wanda was born in Detroit, Michigan, on July 17, 1926, to the late Doris (Fair) and Edgar Appleyard.

 

Greatly missed by sons Bill of Barrie and Don of Hillsdale. Also survived by grandchildren Richard and Julia, and great-grandchildren Capri, Astrid and Lyra.

 


JEAN KELLY

 

Peacefully, on her own terms, surrounded by family, Jean Kelly (Marie Jeanne d'Arc née Lascelles) of London, formerly of Mount Brydges, Sarnia and Kincardine, Dec. 17, 2017, at London Health Sciences Centre - Victoria Campus in her 87th year.

 

Jean was born Dec. 31, 1930, at Corbeil, Ontario. Beloved wife of James J. Kelly for 61 years. Dear mother of Lynn (Paul Campbell) of Kincardine, Lois and Stephanie (David Heap) of London.

 

Loved by grandchildren Josh (Lauren), Jeremy (Kristen), Dana (Emily) Campbell and Arielle Vachon, and by great-grandchildren, Brayden, Aubrey, Rilyn, Weston and Elle Campbell.
