Florence Mary Nicholson (née Hartwick) of Kincardine passed away, with family by her side, at the South Bruce Grey Health Services - Kincardine on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, in her 90th year.

Beloved wife of the late Mac Nicholson, who predeceased her in 2007.

Dear mother of Marion Emmerton (Don) of Kincardine, John Nicholson of Fort St. John, B.C., Dianne Bath of Kincardine, Brenda Wheeler (Guy) of Waterloo and Sandra Liddle (Steve) of Waterloo.

Missed by her grandchildren: Bruce, Heather, Darren, Deanna, Angela (Brandon), Robbie (Dolly), Florence (Matt), Robyn (Bryann), Ryan, Rachael and Alex (Sandra), 11 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Fondly remembered by her brother Ken Hartwick of Cornwall, in-laws Helen Stanley (Ray) of Hanover and Marjorie Nicholson of Bervie and by several nieces and nephews.

ERIC SLADE

Eric Alvin Slade of R. R. #1, Ripley and formerly of Kincardine Township passed away at University Hospital in London on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at age 68.

He is survived by his beloved wife Brenda McMullin and her children Andrew McMullin and Laura McMullin and grandchildren Ashley, Erica and Stacy as well as two great-grandsons.

Dear brother of Irwin Slade (Jane) of R.R. #5, Kincardine and Margaret Slade (Ian Morrissey) of Oshawa. Missed by his brothers-in-law Norm Poirier of R. R. #2, Tiverton and George MacMaster (Andrée) of Montreal.

Fondly remembered by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and by members of the Kincardine Lions Club and Knox Presbyterian Church, Tiverton.

Predeceased by his parents Burton and Dorothy (née Irwin) Slade and sister Marilyn Poirier.

Beverley “Bev” Clare Bryant of Kincardine passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, July 6, 2017, in his 80th year.

Cherished husband of Diane Bryant (née Meharry) of Kincardine.

Beloved father of Tony (Trish) Bryant of Alabama, Todd (Lori) Bryant of Michigan and Cynthia Bryant of Kincardine. Loving grandfather of Danielle and Benjamin.

Dear brother of Betty Freeman of Alliston. Missed by nephews Seth Freeman, Brett Freeman and their families.

Predeceased by his parents Clarence and Janet Bryant.

Visitation was held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home in Kincardine from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Monday, July 10, 2017. A Masonic Service was held at 2 p.m., followed by the Celebration of Life at 2:30 p.m.

Jacob “Jake” Clifford Hillerby of Kincardine passed away suddenly on June 21, 2017, while on vacation with family in Vancouver.

Cherished infant son of Richard and Jacqui (née Robinson) of Kincardine.

Lovingly remembered by his twin sister Robin.

Dear grandson of John and Sue Hillerby of Collingwood and Clifford and Tisha Robinson of Scarborough.

Loved nephew of James (Satsuki) Hillerby, Rob (Emma) Hillerby, Dave (Liz) Hillerby, Christine (Ray) Logel and Kathryn (Kurt Froehlich) Robinson.

Sadly missed by his cousins Melody Hillerby, Simon Hillerby, Eddie Hillerby, Miles Hillerby, Ally Logel, Julie Logel and Thomas Froehlich.

Jacob will be remembered by his many caring friends.

Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home in Kincardine on Wednesday, June 28, 2017.

Cherished mother of Harriette (Bernard) Cavan, Pauline (Richard) Held and Loretta Guay, all of Ottawa; Joan (Randy) Hafermehl, of Elmwood; Robert (Lois) Blake and Michael (Carol) Blake, all of Kincardine.

 

Loved by 17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

 

Also missed by many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
