WILLIAM NICOLAK

William "Bill" Joseph Nicolak, of Tiverton, died at his residence on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010, in his 58th year. 

He was born on Dec. 11, 1952 in Acton, Ontario

Beloved husband of Susan Nicolak (née Matthews).

 

Dear father of Matthew (Christine) Nicolak, of North York; and Brandon Nicolak (Michelle Hannigan), of Tiverton. Cherished grandfather of Lachlan.

 

Loved brother of Barbara, of Guelph; Patricia, of Toronto; Judy, of Oakville; and Susan, of Milton.  Sadly missed by his sister-in-law Linda (John) MacDonald, of Tiverton; and brother-in-law, Jim Matthews, of Owen Sound. Also survived by his nieces and nephews and his grand-dog "Wally."  Visitation was held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010. The funeral service was held in the chapel at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 15, 2010, with Carolyn Keyes officiating. 

 

Pallbearers were: Matthew Nicolak, Brandon Nicolak, Michael McGrath, Stuart McGrath, Jim Matthews and John MacDonald.

ROBERT STORMS

Robert "Bob" Denton Storms, of Kincardine, died at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre - Kincardine, on Friday, Jan. 15, 2010, in his 74th year. 

He was born Jan. 8, 1937 in Timmins, Ontario.

Beloved father of Shari (Wayne) Roberts, of Tiverton; and Tracey (Mike) Hinchberger, of Kincardine. 

Dear friend of Faye Howell, of Belleville, and her children: Jeff Howell (Jef Morrow) and Angie (Chris) Matthews. 

Loved grandfather of Olivia, Maia and Ran Hinchberger; Christina (Jake) Windatt; Richard (Alison) Pavelin; and Cooper and Jared Matthews; and great-grandfather of Victor, Edward and Warren. 

Sadly missed by "ma" Violet Morrison, of Kincardine. 

Predeceased by his brother Donald Storms. 

Visitation was held the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010. The funeral service was held in the chapel at 1 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 18, 2010, with Pastor Peter Stopford officiating. 

Pallbearers were: Mike Hinchberger, Wayne Roberts, Chris Matthews, Jeff Howell, Rob Millar and Tim Emmerton.

EVELENE TOUT

Evelene "Ev" Jean Tout (née Norman), of Tiverton and formerly of Kincardine, died at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre-Kincardine, on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010, in her 90th year. 

She was born Aug. 8, 1920 in Kincardine Township.

Beloved wife of the late Fred Tout. 

Dear mother of Eleanor Swan, of R.R. 5, Kincardine; Carol (Bill) Stewart, of R.R. 4, Kincardine; Ron (Joyce) Tout, of R.R. 2, Tiverton; and Kevin (Mary Ann) Tout, of Port Elgin. Also missed by her daughter-in-law Nancy Tout, of Point Clark. 

Loved grandmother of Pam (Dale), Julie (Joe), Jodi (Jamie), Jamie, Mike (Donna), Rick (Mary), Kim (Jeff), Paul (Shari), Cindy (Rick), Ben (Jen), Jeff (Sandra), Jackie (Ben), Joel (Andrea), Kyle (Heather), Tyler (Jamie), Alicia (Tony) and Rebecca (Kelly) and great-grandmother of Jillian, Joshua, Brittany, Spencer, David, Jenna, Robert, Ben, Corey, Ashley, Mykayla, Brydon, Taylor, Travis, Sharise, Cailey, Cole, Hannah, Parker and Libby. 

Cherished sister of Sheila (Art) Baker of London. 

Predeceased by her son Robert Tout and son-in-law Robert Swan; as well as by her granddaughter JoAnne Swan; grandsons Richard Tout and Jacob Davis; and her sisters, Mary (Jack) Stewart and Laurena (Ralph) Robertson. 

Visitation was held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, from 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010. The funeral service was held in the chapel at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010, with Eva Wilken officiating.

Pallbearers and flower bearers were Ev's grandsons and granddaughters.

FOLGERTJE ZANDSTRA

Folgertje "Folly" Franktje Zandstra (née Manninga), of Kincardine, died at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre-Kincardine, on Friday, Jan. 8, 2010, in her 73rd year. 

She was born on Nov. 8, 1937 in the Netherlands.

Beloved wife of Douwe Zandstra. 

Dear sister of Ineke (Klaas) Dekens, of Port Dover. 

Lovingly remembered by her nephew Klaas Jr.; and nieces Bea and Faye. Sadly missed by her family in Holland

Visitation was held at the Kincardine Pentecostal Church, Kincardine on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service at 2:30 p.m., with Rev. Ray Luinstra officiating. 

Pallbearers were: Tim Luinstra, Eian Farrell, Lynn Farrell, Dale Orr, Paul Dennis, Geurt Hoekman and Bill van Rooyen.
