Silver Stick finals set

Peewees in finals at 1:30 p.m.

The schedule for championship day has been set.

All the round robin and semi-final games have been played, and sx championships will be handed out Wednesday at the 23rd annual Kincardine Regional Silver Stick.

The Kincardine Legion peewees won a semi-final game this afternoon in Tiverton and will play for a Silver Stick title at 1:30p.m. Kincardine downed Ayr 5-4 in a tight semi-final game this afternon in Tiverton. Kincardine will have a rematch with Tavistock. The two teams tied 1-1 in the round robin portion of the tournament. Tavi went on to beat Glanbrook 6-0 and Walkerton 12-0 before beating Listowel 4-2 in a semi-final.

The novice C final will kick off the day's schedule at 9 a.m. Seaforth and Norwich will fight for that trophy, while Goderich and South Huron will play for the B crown at 10:30 a.m.

Seaforth and Bruce Peninsula will play for the peewee C championship at noon, followed by the Kincardine - Tavistock match-up.

At 3 p.m, the Mildmay peewee Monarchs will face Leighton for the C title, and at 4:45 p.m. Ayr will also face Tavistock in the bantam B finals. Tavistock eliminated Kincardine in the semi-finals in a 1-0 thriller Tuesday afternoon. That is the final game on the 23rd annual Silver Stick schedule.
