The sport famously first appeared in J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter books. Now it's being played all over the world, including American colleges, McGill University in Canada and Kincardine and District Secondary School.

The Independent checked out the first regular season KDSS quidditch match played Thursday. For more details, see the hardcopy version of the paper.
