The Kincardine Community Medical Clinic is set to hold more flu clinics tonight and tomorrow.
People in the ‘high-risk’ categories can get their H1N1 shot tonight, Thursday Nov. 12, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
H1N1 vaccine is to also be available for the same groups of people tomorrow, Friday, Nov. 13 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Seasonal flu vaccine is to be available then as well for seniors 65 and older.
Another H1N1 and seasonal flu clinic is scheduled for Nov. 30 at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. It is set to be run by the Grey Bruce Health Unit. For now, it is only scheduled for the high-risk groups.
Are you eligible for an H1N1 shot now?
The Grey Bruce Health Unit says people in the ‘high-risk’ groups include:

Seniors 65 and older

Healthy children 6 months to 19 years

People living with or providing care to high-risk people who can’t be immunized or may not respond to vaccines (for instance, infants less than 6 months old and people who are immunocompromised)

Police officers

Firefighters
-
Paramedics
-

Pregnant women

Women within six weeks after having gave birth
