The Kincardine Theatre Guild brought greetings from Councillor Laura Haight, who was away on holiday, to the Municipality of Kincardine council during the Dec. 12 meeting. Lyrics were written by Bonnie Bryan.

Ding dong merrily on low,

The town bell has been mended.

It must have cost a lot of dough;

Much more than we intended.

Glooooooria,

It’s Christmas in Kincardine.

The 7ACRES plant is thriving;

It’s legal now to smoke it.

Our downtown’s growing and surviving,

Though winter storms provoke it.

Glooooooria,

It’s Christmas in Kincardine.

The online voting hit a snag,

The computers were not coping.

The cause is still a little vague.

Staff didn’t give up hoping.

Glooooooria,

It’s Christmas in Kincardine.

Grey Matter opened in the spring.

We all went down to view it.

The brand names have a funny ring.

You name it and they’ll brew it.

Glooooooria,

It’s Christmas in Kincardine.
