Community Achievement Awards celebrate outstanding Kincardine citizens

Fine dress, good food and great company was the order of the evening on Friday, as some of Kincardine’s most prominent citizens gathered at Ainsdale Golf Course to celebrate the Kincardine Chamber of Commerce Community Achievement Awards.

The awards ceremony provides an important point of reflection each year to consider all of the citizens, not just those nominated, that go above and beyond to help make Kincardine a better place for all.

The event was emceed by Gord Dougan, and saw a brief address from Mayor Anne Eadie who congratulated businesses and commented on the economic influx to our community in the coming years, as well as comments from a representative for Huron-Bruce MP Ben Lobb, who passed along Lobb’s greetings and compliments.
