Nina Eileen McDonald (née Guest) of Ripley passed away at the Hanover Care Centre on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, in her 99th year.


Beloved wife of the late Thomas (Tom) McDonald and the late Edbert Bushell.


Loving mother of Mildred (the late Ron) Young of New Hamburg, Isabel (the late Bert) Thompson of Wingham, Esther (Claire) Bushell of Kingarf, Gordon (the late Shirley) of Ripley, Malcolm (the late Annette) of Kincardine, the late Kenneth (Anne) of Kinlough and Elma Mae (Glen) Kaufman of Hanover.


Cherished grandmother of 19 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and 31 great-great-grandchildren.


Predeceased by her parents Mary and Joseph Guest; sisters Elma Nesbitt and Esther Bloomfield; son Kenneth; and by five grandsons.


There are loving memories from many relatives and friends.


Nina was devoted to her family, church, community and friends. She had a delightful sense of fun, loved music and was a friend to all.


A celebration of Nina's life and a reception will be held at the Kinloss Community Centre from 1:30-4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018.


Final resting place: Kincardine Cemetery, spring 2018.
