Christopher James Lynam of Kincardine passed away, surrounded by the love of his family, at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre-Kincardine, on Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017, at the age of 74.

 

Beloved husband of Joy Lynam (née Witter).

 

Cherished father of Julie Whitney (David) of Kincardine and Barry Lynam (Donna) of St. Thomas.

 

Missed by his grandchildren: Michael Whitney (Amanda), Johnathan Whitney (Paige), Rachael Whitney (Bryce), Bryan Lynam and Corbin Lynam and by great-grandson Bryce Lynam.

 

Dear brother of Charlotte Pitchford (Brian) and Valerie McCann (Peter), all of England.

 

Fondly remembered by sister-in-law Mary Lynam of Wales, brother-in-law John Witter (Michelle) of Florida and by several nieces and nephews.

 

Predeceased by his parents Christopher and Agnes (née Weir) Lynam and brother Danny Lynam.

 

Visitation was held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017, at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home in Kincardine, with a Lions Club service at 6:30 p.m.

 

The funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 8, 2017, with Pastor Kenneth Craig officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Michael and Johnathan Whitney, Bryce Norman, Corbin and Bryan Lynam and David Whitney. Flower bearers were Rachael Whitney, Paige Acheson and Amanda Whitney.
