VERONIKA SOBCZAK

The friends of Veronika Sobczak wish to inform the community that Veronika passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017, in her 86th year.Veronika experienced many challenges in her lifetime. By the age of ten, she had survived a communist regime and endured a Nazi labour camp - and the list of challenges goes on from there. When you listened to her stories, you realized that Veronika had been a hard worker her entire life; very little came easy.

Despite all the challenges she faced throughout her life, she never became bitter. She maintained a positive spirit. She set an outstanding example for her family of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was always present at her weekly meetings and was very committed to her volunteer work. Despite mobility issues this past year, she made it her resolve to make her monthly visits to several members of the community. Her friends look forward to the time when they are reunited with Veronika and she will be in perfect health. (Job 14:14, 15)

A memorial service has taken place.
