Sunday at home, the Cubs shut out the St. Thomas Cardinals 7-0 in the first game of a double-header. The second game was closer, but the Cubs still came out on top winners in a 3-1 decision.

Elsewhere in the MOSBL on Sunday, Mitchell beat the Lucan Irish Nine 10-2 and Hanover beat the Ingersoll Blue Jays 8-5. Mitchell beat the Cardinals 13-5 on Friday night, while the Hitmen and Legionnaires played to a 3-3 tie.
