KEITH McFADDEN

Norman Peter “Keith” McFadden of Kincardine passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre – Kincardine, on Saturday, May 13, 2017, in his 84th year.

 

Cherished husband of Marilyn Joan “Smokey” McFadden (née Needham).

 

Dear father of Debra Reid of Goderich and Shelley Neale of Victoria, B.C.

 

Remembered by seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

 

Missed by son-in-law Kevin Johnston.

 

Loving brother of Bruce McFadden of Port Huron, U.S.A.,  and Madeline McCaw of Sarnia. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

 

Predeceased by daughter Kim Johnston and parents Norman and Earla McFadden.

 

Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Sarnia.

ROD NORDSTAT

Roderick “Rod” Nordstat (Snoddy) passed away in Kincardine on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, in his 56th year.

 

Dear son of Jane and the late Herbert Snoddy.

 

Missed by brother Paul (Deborah) Snoddy of London.Also missed by niece Jenna Snoddy, nephew Justin Snoddy and great-nephew Maliek Seaton.

 

Rod was in search of peace and serenity in his life and found it in the Kincardine landscape. He was an outdoor enthusiast and in particular, enjoyed mountain biking.

 

Many residents supported Rod on this journey and the family is truly grateful. It warms their hearts that Rod found joy in his life. The family also wishes to thank his employer Bruce Power and the Millwrights of Ontario as well as the many doctors and other medical staff who treated Rod through his many health struggles.

 

Prayers will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, 757 Princes Street, Kincardine at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2017, followed by a visitation from 2-4 p.m.
