The award is for outstanding contributions to hockey development programming in minor hockey.

Burrows has coached every level of hockey possible in Kincardine over the last 30 years, and has been in charge of the tyke program ever since he inherited that role from Keith Davidson.

The Kincardine Independent congratulates Burrows on the award, and for his more than three decades of involvement with not just the sport of hockey, but with Kincardine's youngsters. His dedication has made a visible difference in this community.

Watch for a feature story on Burrows in The Kincardine Independent this June when he accepts the award from the OMHA.
