THELMA DRENNAN

Thelma Irene (née Kennedy) Drennan of Kincardine passed away peacefully at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine, on Friday, March 31, 2017, in her 89th year.

 

Beloved wife of Doug Drennan.

 

Dear mother of Al (Jean) Drennan of Whitby and Dennis (Joanne) Drennan of Goderich.

 

Cherished grandmother of Philip (Ansley) of Waterloo, Laurel of London and Kevin of New York City, also, step-grandson Keith of San Francisco.

 

Also missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

 

Predeceased by her brothers Earl and Bill Kennedy and sister Lorna Wilson.

 

Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine on Thursday, April 6 from 12 p.m. till 1 p.m. A brief service will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the Davey-Linklater Chapel, followed by a reception in the lounge.

 

Final resting place, Kincardine Cemetery.

STUART GRIGG

 

Stuart “Stu” John Grigg of Kincardine passed at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre – Kincardine on Friday, March 31, 2017, in his 73rd year.

 

Beloved husband of Betty Grigg (née Hetsler).

 

Dear father of Lisa (Alvin) Storey of Kincardine and Paul (Cyndy) Grigg of London.

 

Cherished grandfather of Rebecca, Brooke, Marlise, Ella, Claiya, Elyse and Lily.

 

Brother of Murray Grigg of Coaldale, Alberta, and brother-in-law of Shirley (Ross) Sturdy of London.

 

Also missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

 

Predeceased by parents John & Muriel (née Rathwell) Grigg.

 

Visitation was held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, on Monday, April 3, 2017, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service took place at the Kincardine United Church on Tuesday, April 4, at 1 p.m., with Pastor Judy Zarubick officiating.

 

Interment Kincardine Cemetery.

RUSSELL KIRKCONNELL

 

Russell Stewart Kirkconnell died peacefully on March 28, 2017, at the St. Joseph’s Health Centre, at the age of 91.

 

Beloved husband of Edna, for 66 years.

 

Cherished father of Paul and his wife Valerie Ann.

 

Much loved grandfather of Stewart Alexander and Samantha Anshili.

 

Russell will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation was held from 1-3 p.m. at the Turner & Porter - Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W, Toronto (between Kipling and Islington Avenues) on Monday, April 3, 2017, followed by the funeral service at 3:30 p.m. at All Saints Kingsway Anglican Church, 2850 Bloor St. W., Toronto (at Prince Edward Drive N.).

 

Interment was held on Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Frankford, Ontario.
