Georgia “Dean” Campbell (née Young), of Kincardine and formerly of Armow and Bervie, died at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre-Kincardine on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016, in her 88th year.

Beloved wife of the late Douglas Campbell (2004).

Dear mother of Paul (Lynn) Campbell of R.R. #2, Kincardine; Elaine (Keith) Alexander of R.R. #2, Cargill; Lynn Campbell (Mandy Reist) of R.R. #5, Kincardine; and Heather (Brian) Barnes of Goderich.

Loved by grandchildren: Josh (Lauren), Jeremy (Kristen), Dana (Emily) Campbell,  Davin (Sarah McPherson), Candace (Tyler Collins), Cole (Faith Yensen) Alexander and Ethan Barnes; and by great-grandchildren, Brayden, Aubrey, Rilyn and Weston Campbell.

Also survived by her sister-in-law, Jean Campbell of Kincardine. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Albert and Kelso Young, her son David Campbell (2001), her brother Glenn (Doreen) Young, her brother-in-law Wilbur Campbell and sisters-in-law Hazel Jean (Glenn) McLelland and Johnina Campbell.

Visitation was held from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec.18, 2016, at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, from where the funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec.19, 2016, with Pastor Bonnie Mair officiating. Serving as pallbearers were grandchildren Josh, Jeremy, Dana, Davin, Cole and Ethan. Honourary pallbearers were Alice Needham and Mildred Griffith, and flower bearers were grandchildren Candace, Aubrey and Rilyn.

Interment Kincardine Cemetery.

Barbara Ellen McFadyen (née Edmiston) of Kincardine passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre-Kincardine on Friday, Dec. 16, 2016, in her 81st year.


Beloved wife of Duncan and mother of Scott (Nancy) McFadyen of Smiths Falls, Sue (Brian) Samson of Hamilton, Eric (Julie) McFadyen of Kincardine and Kate (Dave) Wright of Hanmer.


Dear grandmother of Erica, Rob, Ally, Jeffrey, Andrew and Tegan.


Survived by her sister, Jane Guest of Kincardine. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.


Predeceased by her brother-in-law Jack Guest and sister-in-law Florence (Hugh) Fitzsimmons.


Ellen was a retired nurse who volunteered for many years with the V.O.N. and the Cancer Society. She was a long-time member of the Kincardine Theatre Guild, an avid bridge player and enjoyed Tai Chi.
