Margot Ruth Hanks of Kincardine passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016, in her 78th year.


Born in South Porcupine, Ontario on Nov. 27, 1938, to Max and Jessie (née Norman) MacKinnon.


Beloved wife of Tom Hanks of Kincardine.


Dear mother of Randall (Chris) Baker of Dornoch and Lizanne (Willie) Campbell of Bridgetown, Nova Scotia.


Loving Gubba of Rachael, Becky, Ben, Tristan and Sarah Baker; Daniel, Jessica and Alex Ogilvie; and Shona and Hamish Campbell. Missed by her four great-grandchildren and son-in-law Steve Ogilvie of Kincardine.


Dear sister of Carole (“Q”) Egener of Goderich.


Predeceased by her parents, daughters Kim Ogilvie and Carole Hanks, son John Christopher Hanks and nephew Chaley Egener.


A graveside service to celebrate Margot’s life was held at 11 a.m. the Tiverton Cemetery on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016, with Reverend Kathy Fraser officiating.

Gloria Jane Maxwell (née Scott) of Kincardine passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre - Kincardine on Monday, Oct.17, 2016, in her 77th year.

Beloved wife of the late Joseph “Joe” Maxwell, who predeceased her in 2001.

Dear sister of Joan Scott (Jim) of Walkerton.

Special aunt of Andrew Holland of U.A.E., Rob Scott (Jackie) of Clifford and Tim Scott (Robyn) of Paisley, Florida.

Fondly remembered by her nephews and friends.

Predeceased by her parents, Edmund and Minnie (née Hyde) Scott, and niece Trish Holland.

A celebration of Gloria’s life was held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 183 - Kincardine from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016.

Final resting place: Kincardine Cemetery.
