Three vy for Tiverton crown


Three young ladies are seeking the title of Tiverton Fall Fair Ambassador this weekend.

Gina Spiridaki, Rylee Evans and Hailey Woods will go up before the judges on Friday night. The Ambassador contest begins at 8 p.m. Friday and kicks off a full weekend of events. For the full Fall Fair schedule, don't miss this week's print edition of The Kincardine Independent.

Gina Spiridaki

Gina Spiridaki is the daughter of Angela Smythe and John Smith of Tiverton. She is proudly sponosred by Ken Jackson Construction, Ltd. The Sacred Heart High School student works part-time at McDonalds. She enjoys photograpghy, travellinga and making people laugh. She is on the student's council at SHHS, and also a member of the Yearbook and Latergical Dance. In the future she hopes to attend University and study International Development.


Rylee Evans

Rylee Evans, 16 is the daughter of Don and Renee Evans. Rylee is proudly sponsored by Bruce Telecom and attends Kincardine District Secondary School. The Harbour Church is where she volunteers. Rylee enjoys doing various sports throughout the year and is actively involved in clubs at KDSS including Student Council and the Debate Club. In the future, Rylee plans on attending University to study Kinesiology.


Hailey Woods

Hailey Woods, daughter of Sharon and Chad Woods is 17 and lives in Tiverton. Hailey is proudly sponsored by Chad Woods General Contracting and is currently attending Kincardine District Secondary School. Hailey works part time at Sobey’s and enjoys playing hockey and rugby. She also enjoys travelling and recently returned from a 3 month exchange to Italy. Next year Hailey hopes to attend College in the fall for Pre Service Fire Fighting.
