JENESTA BIGNEY

Jenesta Doreen Bigney (née Pepperdine) of Kincardine passed away at London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital, in London on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016, at the age of 79.

Loving mother of Cindy Bigney of Goderich, Sheryl Bigney (Andy Sturgeon) of Clinton, Pat Wayland (Dave) of R. R. #1, Kincardine, Jacquie Storey (Rob) of Kincardine and Tanya Denomme (Mark) of Goderich.

Missed by her grandchildren: Kati, Jesse, Brandon, Melanie, Jordan, Ethan, Sophia, Maria, Anna, Amelia and A.J. and great-grandchildren: Hannah, Austin, David, Winnifred, Troy and Zach.

Fondly remembered by her best friend and sister Perm Pepperdine of Goderich.

Predeceased by her parents Clarence and Lucy (née Chapman) Pepperdine and brother Tom Pepperdine.

A celebration of Jenesta’s life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 183, Kincardine from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2016.

Final resting place: Kincardine Cemetery.

MARGARET FULLER

 

Margaret Fuller (née Price) of Ripley passed away on Aug. 30, 2016, at her residence in R-Villa, Ripley, at the age of 85.

 

She was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta on July 16, 1931, to the late Russell and Lyda Price. Beloved wife of the late Ray Fuller, who predeceased her in 2004.

 

Greatly missed by her children Lee (Lorna) of Tiverton; Ross (Linda) of Montreal, Quebec; Debbie (Brian) MacKay of Ripley; Kathy (Bruce) Culbert of Goderich and by daughter-in-law Susan Fuller of Kincardine.

 

Grandma of Meghan (Josh), Allison (Mike), Lindsay (Keefer), Courtney (Jens), Sarah (Jeremy), Rachel (Matt), John, Melissa, Jennifer (Mark) and 13 great-grandchildren.

 

Survived by brothers Ian (Terri) Price of Calgary, Alberta; Robert Price of B.C.; sister-in-law Wilda Price of Medicine Hat, Alberta; and by several nieces and nephews.

 

Predeceased by brothers Gene and Raymond Price and sisters-in-law Barb Price and Lorna Price.

 

Visitation was held on Friday, Sept. 2, 2016, at the MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home in Ripley, from 12 noon until the time of the memorial service at 2 p.m. Rev. Ruth MacLean officiated and Karen Martyn was the organist.

 

Interment Ripley Cemetery.

ART LeGRAND

 

Arthur Ernest “Art” LeGrand, a resident of Trillium Court in Kincardine and formerly of Teeswater, passed away at Trillium Court on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016, at the age of 87.

 

Born in Paspébiac, Quebec on Jan. 24, 1929, to the late Ernest and May (née Gaudin).

 

Beloved husband of the late Ardonna LeGrand (née Johnston), who predeceased him on Jan. 11, 2015.

 

Dear father of Rob LeGrand and his wife Susan of Owen Sound, and Jim LeGrand and his wife Michele of Tiverton. Missed by his grandsons Alex and William.

 

Fondly remembered by his sister Marjorie Doherty of New Carlisle, Quebec, his brother George LeGrand (Evelyn) of Paspébiac, Quebec and by several nieces and nephews.

 

Predeceased by his brothers-in-law Dave Doherty and Bill Johnston (Dorothy).

 

A celebration of Art’s life will take place at the Knox Presbyterian Church hall (7 James Street West, Teeswater) on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016, from 2-4 p.m. with remembrances shared at 3 p.m.

 

Interment Lochalsh Cemetery, Ashfield Township.
