BEVAN COLLINS (May 21, 1948-June 4, 2016)

Bevan William Henry Collins passed away peacefully at home, with family by his side, on June 4, 2016, at the age of 68.


Loving husband and best friend for 45 years to Brenda.


One-of-a-kind dad to Jason, Sean, Ryan and Aaron.


Special son-in-law to Margaret Sachs.


Dear brother to Mervyn (Mary) and Gwyneth (Robert) Farrell.


Predeceased by his parents, Harold and Ian Collins, and his brother Burton (Margaret) Collins.


Bevan enjoyed the outdoors - fishing, hunting, canoeing, camping and hiking. He was proud of his accomplishment of becoming a Master Electrician in his retirement years. He will be remembered for his witty, kind and gentle soul.


Visitation was held on Monday, June 6, 2016, at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home in Fergus. The funeral service was then held in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2016.


Interment Belsyde Cemetery, Fergus.

Steven Paul Dereniwski of Kincardine passed away suddenly at home on Friday, June 10, 2016, in his 59th year.


Beloved husband of Colleen Dereniwski (née Hopkins).


Dear father of Tara (Frank) Tourloukis of Kincardine, Brandon (Benilda) Dereniwski of Kincardine and Patrick Dereniwski of Toronto. Loved grandfather of three grandchildren, and one on the way.


Cherished son of Shirley Dereniwski (née Main).


Brother of Kim (Ron) Pitt, Mike (Liz) Dereniwski and Michele McAllister, all of Brantford. Also missed by many nieces and nephews.


Predeceased by his father Paul Dereniwski, and his brother-in-law Derrick McAllister.  Visitation was held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home in Kincardine, on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, from 11 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The funeral service followed at 1:30 p.m., with Janice Nyyssonen officiating.


Final resting place, Kincardine Cemetery.

John “Jack” Noble Guest of Kincardine passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on June 5, 2016.


Best friend and beloved husband of Jane Guest (née Edmiston) for 56 years.


Loving father of Dr. Sean Guest (Janet Morris) and Adrienne Guest (Joseph Trohak). Gramps to Sam and Connor Guest.


he will be missed by his in-laws: Ellen and Duncan McFadyen, Mary Guest, Louis Guest and by his nieces and nephews.


Predeceased by his parents Noble and Lillian Guest, and siblings Ruth, Harold, Edgar and Mabel.


After leaving Kincardine High School, Jack joined the Royal Canadian Air Force. In 1961, Jack and Jane moved to Ireland where he was a pilot with Aer Lingus for four years. On returning to Canada, he flew for Air Canada until his retirement in 1993.


A celebration of his life will be held at the Church of the Messiah, 415 Russell Street, Kincardine at 2 p.m. on June 30, 2016. The family will be available for visitation at 1 p.m. and a reception will follow the service in the parish hall.


The family would like to thank CCAC and the Care Partners Team who helped fulfill Jack’s wishes of remaining in his home until his passing.

ROSS LEES (Nov. 29, 1951- May 31, 2016)


Ross Phillip Lees passed away peacefully in the arms of his true love, surrounded by the love of his family, on May 31, 2016, in his 65th year.


Beloved husband and best friend of Pamela Lees of Kincardine.


Loved and loving father of Kandra Huber and her husband Cory, and Lysandra Lees. Cherished grandpa of Mikhayla, Alicia, Aiden, Caitlin and Hailey.


Loved son of Burkett (née Powell) and the late Roy.


Survived by his siblings: Grant, Clarence, Darlene, Victoria, Jim and Ken. Lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.


Predeceased by Judie and Don.


Ross was a retired employee of OPG and Bruce Power.


The funeral was held at the Barnes Memorial Funeral Home in Whitby on Friday, June 3, 2016. Memorial donations to the Lakeridge Health Foundation for supportive care were greatly appreciated.


A Celebration of Life will be held at the Kincardine Legion, 219 Lambton Street, from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2016. In lieu of fresh flowers, a garden plant, small bush or tree may be donated to the Kincardine Legion.
