Huron United was defeated 3-0 in Guelph on Sunday.

It was the first loss of the season for Kincardine's mens soccer team. United went into the game having scored seven goals and allowed only a pair, but they couldn't find the net Sunday on the road.

The host squad, IST, knocked Huron United out of top spot in the SWRSA Premier League with the win.

The visitors did not turn in a bad performance, but were continually being pulled out of position by a fluid and skilled team. The United wasn't able to play its game, and the club was punished for it.

Huron United needs to regroup quickly with a busy weekend ahead. On Friday night, the team will be in Kitchener for a Forsyth Cup match. Then, the team will host Listowel for a home game on Sunday afternoon. Kick-off is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine.
