Elsie Lillian Lockhart (née Moon) of Port Elgin and formerly of Kincardine passed away peacefully at the age of 92 at the Hanover Care Centre on Sunday, April 24, 2016.

Cherished wife of the late Charles "Bryce" Lockhart.

Loving mother of John Lockhart (Mary Jo Knappett) of Grand Bend, Richard of Toronto and Suzanne MacLean of Paisley.

Dear grandmother of Jody (Norman) Douglas, Kelly (Gary) Amaral, Charlie (Sheena) MacLean and Elsa (Scott) Thompson and great-grandmother of Jeremy, Jason and Jaclyn Core; Wyatt, Bryce and Sophia MacLean; Charlize and Isla Moon Amaral.

Survived by her sister Nancy (Richard) Martyn of Quebec and her sister-in-law Anita Moon of Quebec.

Predeceased by her daughter Linda, parents Stanley and Winnerfred Moon, brother Herbert and son-in-law Roderick MacLean.

A graveside service will take place at the Kincardine Cemetery at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2016.

In loving memory of husband, father, grandfather and uncle Arcangelo Paoletti who passed away on March 14, 2016, in his 87th year.

Arcangelo was born in Lucca, Italy. He worked for Ontario Hydro and enjoyed his community, friends and family. He was known to all for his bountiful garden. As Angelo faced his last days on this earth, he shared many fond thoughts of his Glammis community, his friends and relatives.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Laura Iona Paoletti (née Callahan), his three children and their families: Vince (Brenda) Paoletti and Giovanni, Paula Cornish (Dave Seyler) and Myles, Victor Paoletti (Charity Peters) and Dakota, Durango, Zyan, Savannah, Mariah.

The family thanks Pastor David Williams, Glammis Baptist Church, St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church of Glammis and all their friends and family for sharing their memories and for all the lovely cards and flowers.



Ruth Lorena Roe of RVilla in Ripley passed away on April 21, 2016, at the Kincardine Hospital at the age of 85.

Ruth was born Aug. 19, 1930, in Blandford Township to the late Mabel (Zinn) and Burt Kingsbury.

Beloved wife of the late Roy Roe, who predeceased her in 2008.

Dear mother of Jim (Barbara) Roe of Tiverton and Marlyn (Gary) Colwell of Glammis.

Missed by her grandchildren: Kimberly (Brian) Ignas, Christopher (Shantel) Colwell, Jason Roe and Jen (Chris) Brooks, and by great-grandchildren: Elayna, Emmett, Henry, and Sawyer. Survived by her siblings Russell (Martha) of Woodstock, Donald of Woodstock, Ronnie (Gloria) of Tillsonburg and Betty Thacker of Mount Forest. Also remembered by her many Roe relatives. Predeceased by her sister Elsie Hockridge and her brother Jack.

A private family funeral service was conducted at the MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home in Ripley with Pastor Ken Craig officiating.

Interment Ripley Cemetery.
