LLOYD BONNETT

Lloyd Albert Bonnett, of Kincardine, died at Pinecrest Manor, Lucknow, on Friday, June 12, 2009, at the age of 82.

 

He was born June 8, 1927 in Kincardine Township.

Beloved brother of Ruby (Don) Peterbaugh, of Ripley; Robert Bonnett, of R.R. 1, Kincardine and his friend Leona Cottle; James Bonnett (Mary Lamoure), of R.R. 5, Owen Sound; and Jean (Richard) Winter, of Stratford. 

Dear friend of Sybil Straker, of Kincardine. Sadly missed by his nieces and nephew: Debbie, Lorie, Shirley, Donna, Heather, Julie, Kevin and Kimberly; and by his great nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents, Archie and Annie (Stanley) Bonnett; and nephew Douglas Peterbaugh. 

Visitation was held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, 757 Princes Street, Kincardine, ON N2Z 1Z5, 519-396-2701, on Sunday, June 14, 2009, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service was held in the chapel at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 15, 2009, with Rev. Susan Samuel officiating.

Pallbearers were: Kevin Winter, Shaun Scott, Alex Tanchez, Dave Pacheco, Paul Sedlemeir and Mike Woodley. Honourary pallbearers were: Don Peterbaugh, Roger Kleebaum and Alan Underwood.

Flower bearers were: Julie Bonnett, Heather Bonnett, Amy Scott, John Burton and Michael Burton.

Interment Kincardine Cemetery

JAMES CARR

James "Jim" Andrew Carr, of Tiverton, died at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre-Kincardine, on Saturday, June 13, 2009, in his 63rd  year. 

Beloved husband of Helen Carr (née Catto). 

Dear father of Kevin Carr, of Tiverton; and Laurie (Bert) Malcolm, of R.R. 2, Tiverton. Loving grandfather of Meleesa, Rachel and Andrew. 

Cherished brother of Jennifer Grassing, Charlie Carr, Liz (Don) Large, Rosemary (Dave) King, Bill (Debbie) Carr, Barb Scarr, Rick (Linda) Carr, John (Pat) Carr, Margie Jennex (Jim), Bob Carr, Don Carr and Michael (Sheila) Carr. Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews and the Catto family. 

Predeceased by an infant brother David.

DOUG NURTON

Doug Nurton, of Kincardine, died at Trillium Court, on Tuesday June 9, 2009, in his 89th year.

 

Beloved husband of the late Doris Nurton (nee McCreath).

 

Dear father of Douglas (Pat), of Kincardine, David (Joan), of Owen Sound; and Derrick (Elizabeth), of Kincardine. Sadly missed by his grandchildren: Rick (Jen), Tim (Christina), Derra (Nathan) Doran, Lisa (Marc) Lefebvre, Michael, Bryan (Robin), Angela, Sean (Julianna) and Kim (Ron) Gould; and by his great-grandchildren: Sandra, Rebeccca, Thomas, Trevor, Tanner, William, Julia, Ian, Kyler and Benjamin. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.

 

Predeceased by his brothers and sisters.

 

A private family service will be held.

 

Interment Kincardine Cemetery.
