ARTHUR BALL

Arthur E. Ball of Listowel and formerly of the Kincardine area passed away at his home on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015, in his 84th year.

Beloved husband of Norma R. (Veal) Ball.

Dear father of Brenda & Danny Maillet of Brantford, John & Carolyn Ball of Ripley, Elizabeth & Mark Norman of Listowel and Brian Ball of London.

Fondly remembered by his grandchildren: Scott Barham & Stephanie Kerry, Jordan & Jacquelyn Ball, Kyla & Brent Kempton, Benjamin Norman, Taylor Norman and Kaitlyn Norman, and by his great-grandchildren: Gaige Kempton & Lennon Barham. Fondly remembered by Scott’s dad, Bob Barham.

Predeceased by his sisters and brothers: Ivy, Mabel, Beatrice, Doris, Jean, Ernest, Archie, Wilfred and Albert.

A memorial tribute reception for family, relatives and friends was held from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015, at the Listowel Community Family Funeral Home (Wallace Ave. N. at Fairlane Road) in Listowel, with family tributes at 2:30 p.m.

Interment Exeter Cemetery.

Memorial donations to the Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation or Ivy Eye Institute London would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy,

JAMIE LIDDLE

Jamie Ryan Liddle of Norwich died suddenly at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Monday, July 20, 2015, at the age of 55.

He was a proud and loving husband of Deb (Binkle).

Cherished father of Melissa (Matt) and Ashley (Robb).

Dear son of Irene Liddle of Ripley.

Brother of Courtney Liddle of Ripley, Greg Liddle and Donna Elphick of Goderich, Sandy Liddle and Gail Gollan of Napanee and brother-in-law of Linda and Alf Pinter of Norwich, Sue and Ken McKie of Burgessville, and Butch Binkle and Jane Rutter, both of Norwich.  A very special uncle to his nephews, nieces and great-nephews and great-nieces, who all miss him dearly.

Predeceased by his father Doug, father- and mother-in-law Herb and Janet Binkle, and sister-in-law Carolyn Liddle.

Jamie’s early childhood, spent in a farming community in Huron Township, exposed him to farm machinery which led to his life’s trade as a mechanic. He moved to Norwich where he worked for a farm dealership and truck centre in Woodstock before he and his wife Deb became co-owners of M&L Service & Repair in Otterville which they operated for more than 25 years. Jamie loved life to the fullest and will be greatly missed by his family, close friends and all who knew him.

Visitation was held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, July 24, 2015, at the Arn-Lockie Funeral Home, 45 Main St. W. Norwich, from where the funeral service honouring Jamie’s life was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2015, with Rev. David Snihur officiating. Daughter Ashley and niece Pamela Liddle presented special life memories. Pallbearers were nephews Ryan, Craig and Blair Liddle, Nathan Pinter, Paul McKie and Matt Reissner.

Interment Norwich Cemetery.
