With one week remaining in Lake Huron's largest fishing derby, Hanover's Paul Lennox sits atop the leaderboard.

Lennox took the lead on Thursday, when he brought in a 16.45-pound chinook salmon into the Saugeen Shores weigh station. It is one of four fish caught in the last week to bump Roy Eaton from top spot. Luke Scherders of Walkerton is now in second place in the salmon category, followed by Katie MacMillan and Matt Jacob, all with catches of at least 14 pounds.

Bob Hicks of Kincardine still leads the trout division. His 24.61-pound lake trout is going to be a tough fish to beat. It weighs in at more than 8 pounds heavier than the second place trout. Local anglers Paul Bester and Tim Dwinnell currently hold fourth and fifth place, respectively, on the trout leaderboard.

The prizes will be doled out at the closing ceremonies this Sunday afternoon in Tiverton at the Community Centre beginning at 1 p.m.
