Two teams will take the ice for a good cause Saturday night in Tiverton.

The Tiverton Fire Department will take on the Tiverton P'anters Saturday night in a fundraising hockey game in honour of 19-year-old Lindsey Gossell.

Gossell is currently undergoing treatments for cancer.

The doors to the Tiverton Community Complex will open at 7 p.m., with a ceremonial puck drop to start the game at 8 p.m. A silent auction will also be held, as well as a chuck-the-puck between periods of the hockey game.

A large crowd is expected out to show support for Gossell, a Tiverton Minor Sports grad and herself a fine hockey player.
