Three people are facing numerous charges after police responded to a report of a break-in at a Sideroad 10, Huron Twp. residence.
Just before 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 22, the South-Bruce OPP received a report of a break-in, and while responding observed a red truck that had been reported stolen by the home owner. The red Ford Ranger was stopped by police, and officers noted a large quantity of tools, sporting goods and electronics inside the vehicle. The occupants of the truck were arrested.
A 46-year-old Huron-Kinloss Twp. woman has been charged with two counts of break and enter, two counts of possession of stolen property, four counts of driving while under suspension, operating an unsafe vehicle, operating with no insurance and using unauthorized licence plates.
A 48-year-old Southgate Twp. man has been charged with two counts of possession of stolen property and two counts of break and enter.
A 21-year-old Palmerston man has been charged with two counts of possession of stolen property and two counts of break and enter.
All three were held in custody pending the results of a bail hearing scheduled for Aug. 25, 2014 at 2 p.m.
