Kincardine man arrested

A 24-year-old Kincardine man has been arrested and is being held for bail, says the South Bruce OPP.

The arrest comes as the result of an investigation into an assault at a residence along Queen Street in Kincardine early Sunday.

Police removed roadblocks on Queen Street between Lambton and Durham Market at about 1:30 p.m. Sunday. At about the same investigating officers and a SWAT team cleaned up their gear in and behind an apartment that is located just a few doors to the north of Harbour Street. 

Police say they appreciate the co-operation and the patience shown by the publlic.
