Arrow Racing Team and community supporters are hosting a Mountain Bike Bonanza at the Inverhuron Mountain Bike Park on July 27.

Riders are invited to bring their bike and helmet for a free fun filled day.

This event was initiated by OPG to profile the Municipality of Kincardine’s unique park for residents and visitors to the area. “The Inverhuron Mountain Bike Park owes a great deal to Arrow Racing, Explore the Bruce, Inverhuron District Ratepayers Association, Kincardine Home Hardware, and Ontario Power Generation, who have helped make this event possible,” said Karen Kieffer, Municipality of Kincardine Recreational Director.

With support from Arrow Racing, riders will be coached on basic bike skills and body positioning to be better prepared for the parks jumps, skinnies, wooden features and 10 trails that range in difficulty from beginner to expert. Free activities will be offered throughout the day and a food vendor will be on site for refueling stops.

The parks founding committee members Drew Otterman, trail designer, and Gordon Barr, president of Inverhuron District Ratepayers Association, were quick to come on board to help plan the event.

“This event will help all riders improve their skill levels,” Otterman said in a media release.

The park is located at the end of Richards Drive in Inverhuron, just a street away from the Provincial Park. For more information, visit opg.com.
