All-candidates meetings to be held for Huron-Bruce riding

All-candidates meetings have been scheduled to allow members of the public to come out and ask questions of their local provincial party representatives.

 

The Kincardine and District and Saugeen Shores Chambers of Commerce will hold a meeting tonight (Wednesday) at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre in Tiverton. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for a meet and greet and the meeting will begin at 7 p.m. Candidates will make opening remarks and then the floor will be opened for questions from the public.

 

A second meeting will be held in Teeswater on June 3 at the Teeswater-Culross Community Centre, hosted by the Bruce County Federation of Agriculture. The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m.

So far, four parties have nominated candidates to run for election in the Huron-Bruce riding. Lisa Thompson is representing the PC Party and is running for re-election; Jan Johnstone is representing the NDP; Colleen Schenk is representing the Liberals; and Adam Werstine is representing the Green Party of Ontario.
