Break-in at Ripley Legion

Police are investigating a break-in at the Ripley Legion.

The South-Bruce OPP received a report of a break-in on Jessie St., Ripley on May 25. Sometime between 8 p.m. on May 24 and 9:30 a.m. on May 25, entry was gained to the legion forcibly through a side window. The Legion safe was pried open and a quantity of cash was stolen. Police did not provide an estimate on how much money the safe contained or the damage done to the building.

The South-Bruce OPP is requesting anyone with information that can assist police to call 1-888-310-1122.
