All residents of Kincardine are being asked to run water to avoid frozen water pipes.
The colder than normal temperatures this winter have resulted in the frost line penetrating deeper into the ground, resulting in the potential of frozen water pipes, says a press release Saturday from the
Kincardine residents are urged to take the following precaution:
Customers are asked to keep a steady stream of cold water running about the width of a pencil lead at an inside faucet farthest removed from the water meter until further notice.
This keeps water moving, making it less likely to freeze.
