The puck drops at 4 p.m. today (Sunday) at the Davidson Centre. Walkerton shut out Kincardine 4-0 last night in the first game of this best-of-seven series. Walkerton is the Bulldogs opponent thanks to a huge upset by the Hanover Barons on Friday night. The Barons came back from a 3-0 series hole to knock off the Mount Forest Patriots in seven games. Hanover, however, was quickly humbled yesterday by Wingham. The Ironmen pasted Hanover 8-0 in Game 1 of that semi-final series. Game 2 of that match-up will also be played today.

Today's game in Kincardine will be followed by Game 2 of the OMHA quarter-final midget series between Kincardine and Ennismore. Ennismore won the series opener on Friday night at home. Official game time for the midget game is 6 p.m.

Game 3 of the Walkerton - Kincardine Junior C series is Wednesday night in Walkerton, with Game 4 back in Kincardine on Friday night at 8:30 p.m. For the full story, don't miss next week's print edition of The Kincardine Independent.
