It took one game more than they were hoping for, but not much more.

The Kincardine Miller Insurance midget Kinucks defeated Listowel to win the WOAA playoff title for a fifth consecutive season. They have defeated Listowel in all five WOAA championship series.

Kincardine held a 2-0 series lead on Listowel, and was looking to sweep Monday night on home ice. Listowel, however, staved off elimination with a narrow 3-2 win at the Davidson Centre, which forced a Game 4 last night (Wednesday) in Listowel. The Kinucks came out flying in Game 4, and proved a point by filling the Listowel net. It was 9-0 after two periods, and 12-2 when the final buzzer sounded to end Game 4, and the WOAA playoffs.

Kincardine now moves on to the OMHA quarter-finals, where they will face Ennismore. Ennismore defeated Highland last week. A schedule will be posted on this site when it is finalized.
