A 23-year-old man has been charged following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Karishea Ave. and the Huron-Kinloss Line in Kinloss Twp.
The South-Bruce OPP got the call just after 8 p.m. on Aug. 19. Officers arrived at the scene to learn that a white Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck towing a horse trailer heading north on Huron-Kinloss Line pulled out into the path of a red Dodge Dakota. The Dakota had been travelling west on Karishea Ave.
The driver of the Dodge was transported to Kincardine Hospital for assessment of non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the Silverado, a 23-year-old Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh Twp. man, was charged with start from a stopped position not in safety.
