GORDON BEARDMORE

Gordon “Gord” Roddick Beardmore, of Kincardine, passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre-Kincardine, on Monday, Aug. 12, 2013, in his 69th year.

Beloved husband of Bernadette “Bernie” Beardmore (née Gerding).

Dear father of Penny Beardmore (Jamie Moss), of Kitchener; and Cory Beardmore, of Kincardine. Loved papa of Alyssa, Dustin, Jessica, Cassidy, Taylor and Jacob and great papa of Kayden.

Lovingly remembered by Bernie’s family and sadly missed by his nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his sister Margo Gibson.

Gord owned and operated Gord’s Mobile Lock & Key in Kincardine since 1988.

DOROTHY COLES (Aug. 18, 1921- Aug. 17, 2013)

Dorothy May Coles (née Franklin) passed away peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, Ontario with her loving children by her side.

She was born in Claphan Common, England on Aug. 18, 1921. She married Ralph E. Coles in 1943 and immigrated to Canada as a war bride.

She is survived by her children Linda Coles, of Lindsay; Sandy Smith (Pete LeSage), of Cambridge; Terry (Kim) Coles ,of DeWinton, Alberta; Dayle (Bob) Waring, of Hensall; and Kim (Ron) Falsetti, of Oakville; as well as by eight grandchildren: Blair (Liz), Marria (Chris), Josh (Colleen), Nathan (Azra), Jason (Joie), Gregory (Mara), Holly (Jordan), Dana (Lauren); and 12 great grandchildren: Emily, Jett, Abbey, Bo, Seth, Lily, Charlotte, Annabelle, Alyssa, Aidan, Hailey and Kacie.

Predeceased by her loving husband Ralph; three wonderful sons: Grant, Wayne and Blair; and her faithful, furry companion Andy.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held at Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, 757 Princes Street, Kincardine on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Aug.  22, 2013.

Interment Kincardine Cemetery.

BETTY LOREE                      

Betty Loree, formerly of Hanover, passed away at Elgin Abbey Nursing Home in Chesley on Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013, in her 87th year.

Born in England on Feb. 13, 1927 to the late Benjamin and Beatrice (nee May) Legg, Betty was a cook at the Hanover Care Centre and enjoyed being a part of the Bible study groups with Victory Fellowship Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Lorne Loree; her daughters: Debra Handbury, of Fredericton, New Brunswick; Beverley Williams, of Hanover; and Cathy Williams, of Kincardine; and by her sons: Roger (Sally) Troke, of Kincardine; Doug (Lynne) Troke, of Bergen, New York; and Kenneth Williams, of Hanover. Also by her grandchildren: Taylor Williams, Jamie Williams, Shawn (Krista) Troke, Jason (Tina) Troke, Jill Handbury and Erica Handbury; and by her great grandchildren: Nathan Troke, Jaydon Troke and Jordan Troke.

Also survived by sister Barbara Legg, of Hamilton.

Predeceased by her son Gary Williams, granddaughter Tamra Troke, sister Elsie Elliott and brothers Sid, Robert and Tom Legg.

Visitation was held at Mighton Funeral Home in Hanover, on Thursday, Aug.  22, 2013 from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11a.m. with Rev. Paul Holden officiating.

Interment Elmwood United Cemetery.

JAMES OSBORNE

James Richard Osborne passed away at his residence in Kincardine, on Aug. 15, 2013, at the age of 74.

Beloved husband of Marilyn (née Horst) for 51 years.

Dear father of Kim Osborne, Jim Barna and Jack.

James was employed with the RBC for forty years and enjoyed his retirement for almost twenty years.

Cremation and a private service have taken place.

JACK PYM

John "Jack" Warren Pym (a veteran of the Second World War), of Kincardine, died at London Health Sciences Centre-University Hospital, on Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Grace Pym (née Coulter).

Dear father of Bill (Susan) Pym, of Port Elgin; John (Elaine) Pym, of Kincardine; Jane Pym (Lorne Power), of Sarnia; Richard (Marion) Pym and Cathy Alcombrack (Doug Kennedy), all of Kincardine. Lovingly remembered by 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Also survived by his daughter-in-law Kim Pym, of Penticton, B.C; and his brother-in-law Cliff Walsh, of Wingham.

Predeceased by his son Donald, brother William, and sister Marion (Bob) Rae.

Visitation was held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Kincardine on Friday, Aug. 16, 2013 from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m., with Rev. Jim Weir and Rev. Ian Johnston officiating.
