Somebody was getting a charge from breaking into the dump.
The South-Bruce OPP reported the theft of a dozen vehicle batteries last Saturday morning from the Municipal landfill in Armow. At 8:37 a.m. Jan. 19, police responded to the report on Sideroad 15 in Kincardine Twp. During the early morning hours of Jan. 19, police learned two batteries were stolen from the dump truck, as well as 10 vehicle batteries that had been left at the landfill. The value of the stolen batteries was estimated to be more than $500.
