Fugitive nabbed

Police nabbed an 18-year-old man who escaped from custody shortly before midnight on Sunday.

The man had been arrested in Chesley Sunday morning after police attended a harassment call. Police took the man into custody at the scene, and transported him to Chesley Hospital for assessment. At 2 p.m., it was determined the man had left the hospital, thereby escaping custody.

The West Region OPP Emergency Response Team and a West Region OPP K-9 member assisted the South-Bruce OPP in the search for the man.

Just before midnight, the man was located and apprehended without incident.
