The Kincardine District Secondary School senior boys basketball team did not have a good start to the Bluewater Athletic Association (BAA) regular season.

The Knights were pasted by the visiting John Diefenbaker Secondary School Trojans Wednesday afternoon.

The Trojans held a 27-8 lead at the half, and took a 27 point lead before the end of the third quarter.

In other BAA South senior boys basketball play, the Sacred Heart Crusaders beat Saugeen District Secondary School 60-41, while the Walkerton District Raiders hammered on Chesley by a whopping 79-23 margin.

The Knights will face a big test today as they host SHHS for a 4 p.m. start. KDSS was on the road Monday afternoon to face the Chesley District High School Cougars.

Both the KDSS junior and senior teams will be in Walkerton Monday for games another big test against the WDSS Raiders.
