William (Bill) Cunningham passed away peacefully at the South Grey Bruce Health Centre in Kincardine, Ontario on Monday, Nov. 24, 2008, in his 86th year.

Bill was a veteran of the Second World War, and a member of the Escape Society (POW). He was a graduate of the first postwar RCAF pilot’s course and throughout his career held many flying and staff positions, including an exchange posting with the United States Air Force.

Predeceased by Mary (née Avery) and son Robert. For 43 years, loving and supportive husband of Mary (née Deneau).

Sadly missed by Bettina  “Betty” Sinclair. Remembered by his daughter Ann Ellis (Scott), sons William “Biff” (Linda), Peter (Edith) and daughter-in-law Mary Jane Cunningham (Adam). Proud grandfather of many grandchildren and great grandchildren - but especially of his namesake, Wesley William Ellis.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Base Chapel, 8 Wing, Canadian Forces Base Trenton at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5, 2008, with Padre Stan Whitehouse officiating. A Celebration of Life reception to follow immediately at 3 p.m. in the CFB Trenton Officers’ Mess.

Interment Kingsville Cemetery, at a later date.

Penelope "Penny" Tersigni, (née Brock) of Kincardine, died at her residence, on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008, in her 61st year. 

Beloved wife of Peter Shewfelt. Dear mother of Dave Tersigni (Heather Davis), of Oshawa; Michael (Pam) Tersigni,  of Newmarket; and Kim Tersigni, of Barrie. Sadly missed by her grandchildren, Jessica and Madison. 

Loved daughter of Victoria Brock, of Kincardine, and the late Arthur Brock. Also survived by her sister Wendy (Greg) McKinnon, of Barrie. Lovingly remembered by her step-children: John Shewfelt, and Greg (Debbie) Shewfelt; and her step-grandchildren Andrew, Matthew, Jay and Melissa. 

Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008 from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m., with Rev. Eric Watson officiating.

Randi Steen, of Tiverton, died at the Guelph General Hospital on Thursday, Nov. 27, 2008, in her 62nd year. 

Beloved wife of Floyd Steen. Dear mother of Tracey (Rod) Johnston, of Tiverton; and Tim (Emmi) Steen, of Guelph.  Sadly missed by grandchildren: Jesse, Cole and Mackenna Johnston, and Madden and Abigail Steen. 

Lovingly remembered by her mother Reta Hughes, of Southampton. Loving sister of Gail (Everett) Beamsley, of Cayuga; and Keith (Gail) Buxton, of Kingston. 

Predeceased by her father Joseph Buxton. 

The funeral service was held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine on Monday, Dec. 1, 2008, with Ken and Joe Wiseman officiating. 

Spring interment, Tiverton Cemetery.
