NINA JIRGENS

Nina Jirgens, of Kincardine, died at Pinecrest Manor in Lucknow on Monday, June 11, 2012, in her 93rd year.

Wife of the late Karl Jirgens.

Dear mother of Karl (Lois) Jirgens, of Laurens, Iowa; and Wally (Linda) Jirgens, of Kincardine.  Sadly missed by her grandchildren: Linsey (T.J.) McClure, Danny Jirgens (Sophie) and Charmaine (Minya) Gavrilovic. Loving great grandmother of Morgan McClure, Jesse Jirgens, Chloe and Stefanie Gavrilovic.

KEN LINKLATERDOUG MALLORY

Kenneth "Ken" Harvey Linklater, a veteran of the Second World War, of Kincardine, died at Trillium Court, on Saturday, June 16, 2012, in his 90th year.

Beloved husband of Reita Linklater (née Robinson).

Dear father of Susan and her husband Bill Pym, of Port Elgin; and Nancy Linklater and her husband Dale Martin, of London. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren: Wade Linklater (Sue Ellen), Wyatt Linklater (Tina), Michael Pym (Shannon), Mandy  Mendes (John) and Gregory Pym; and by his great-grandchildren: Saige, Caleb, Kelton, Madison, Mason, Elia and Erin.

Sadly missed by his brothers Bryce (Alma) Linklater, of Jarvis; and Gordon (Joan) Linklater, of Toronto.

Predeceased by a son, Kenneth Fraser Linklater, in infancy; his brother Harold, and sister-in-law Helen Linklater.

Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, 757 Princes Street, Kincardine on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral will be held on at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2012 with Rev. Jim Weir officiating.

Interment Kincardine Cemetery.

Richmond Douglas "Doug" Mallory, of Kincardine, died peacefully at home, on Thursday, December 22, 2011, in his 72nd year.

Beloved husband of Catherine Anne "Cathy" Mallory (née Salmon).

Dear father of Nancy Mallory (Scott Telfer) of Austin, Texas; Jamie (Cindy) Mallory, of St. Thomas; and Dr. Susan (Maneesh) Mehta, of Markham.

Loving grandfather of Michaela, Corie and Garrett Telfer; Cassandra and Joshua Mallory; and Anisha, Shobha and Shaan Mehta.

Sadly missed by his nephew Tim Mallory, of Oregon.

Predeceased by his son David Mallory (1995), his brother Donald Mallory and daughter-in-law Shelley Mallory.

A  memorial service will be held at the Anglican Church of the Messiah, Kincardine, on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 11 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Interment Church of the Messiah Memorial Garden.

JOHN SWIFT

E. John Swift, of Delta, B.C. and formerly of Kincardine, Ontario and Beaconsfield, Quebec, passed away on Monday, May 28, 2012, in his 93rd year.

Predeceased by his wife Donna Marie.

Beloved father of Robbie (Susie), of Vancouver and; Donnie and his wife Kathie, of Brampton. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren.

WINIFRED ROBINSON

Winifred Angeline Robinson, of Kincardine, died at John Joseph Place, Owen Sound, on Sunday, June 10, 2012, in her 90th year.

Beloved daughter of the late Andrew and Laurena (Pollock) Robinson.

Dear sister of the late Lorne Robinson. Loved sister-in-law of Wilma Jean Robinson, of R.R. 2, Kincardine.

Cherished aunt of Sharon (Stew) Taylor, of Owen Sound; and Dennis (Susan) Robinson, of R.R. 2, Kincardine. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephew: Carrie (Art) Houghton, Holly Robinson-Colley (Keith Colley), Angela (Shane) Bolton and Matthew (Erin) Taylor and by her great nieces and nephews: Jake and McKinna Colley; Emily, Richard and Stewart Bolton; and Jared and Trent Houghton.

At Winifred’s request, her body has been donated to the University of Western Ontario.  Visitation was held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, on Thursday, June 14, 2012 from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m., with Rev. Don Harry officiating.

Interment Kincardine Cemetery.

JERRY TRENTELMAN

Jerry Bernard Trentelman, of RR 1 Tiverton, died at LHSC - University Hospital in London, on Wednesday, June 13, 2012, in his 68th year.

Beloved husband of Gabriele Trentelman (née Doerel). 

Dear father of Ann Marie and her husband Adam Ruthven, of Tiverton; Christine Trentelman, of London; and Richard Trentelman and his partner Tanya, of Strathroy. Sadly missed by his grandchildren: Mason, Hudson, Durin and Amber.

Loved brother of Henk (Brenda) Trentelman, of Sunnybrae, Nova Scotia; Marcel (Cheryl) Trentelman, of London; Annette (Frank) Bortolussi, of London; and Ine Michiels, of Ingersoll. Also survived by his mother-in-law, Traute Doerel, of Kitchener; brother-in-law Uwe Doerel, of Kitchener; and a sister-in-law Barbara (David) Henderson, of Guelph. Jerry will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents, Herman and Ann (née Graveman) Trentelman; his father-in-law, Rudolf Doerel; and his brother-in-law, Hank Gansevles.

Visitation was held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, 757 Princes Street, Kincardine, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday June 17, 2012 from where the funeral was held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 18, 2012, with Rev. Fr. Don Wilhelm officiating.

Serving as pallbearers were Richard and Marcel Trentelman, Adam Ruthven, Uwe Doerel, Frank Bianco and Bill Tennyson. Flower bearers were Mason Ruthven and Durin Trentelman.

Interment Tiverton Cemetery.
