KDSS girls hockey team ties SHHS 1-1, boys in action tomorrow

The high school hockey season has begun.

The Kincardine District Secondary School girls hockey team opened the year on the road, and played the Sacred Heart Crusaders to a 1-1 tie.

The KDSS boys hockey team begins action tomorrow afternoon. The Knights will be in Georgian Bay to face the Vikings in the BAA regular season opener.

The girls team will be in action again at the Davidson Centre Nov. 27 when they play host to the St. Mary’s High School Mustangs of Owen Sound. The puck drops at 2:30 p.m.

The second game for the boys is also against the Mustangs at home, just a few days later. The boys will host SMHS on Monday, Dec. 1 for a 1:30 p.m. start at the Davidson Centre.
