The Kincardine bantams were defeated 5-2 in Wiarton last week.

The Wiarton Wild grabbed a 3-0 first period lead with physical play unseen by Kincardine yet this season.

Kincardine regrouped in the second period, creating several offensive opportunities and focusing on hockey.

The bantams finally got on the scoreboard early in the third period.

Jordan Small scored from Brendon McCartney and Jesse Hall to make it a 3-1 game.

However, Wiarton regained its three goal lead less than a minute later.

David Allingham scored a second goal for Kincardine, with an assist to Tyler Dinsmore.

It was as close as Kincardine got, however, and it ended 5-2 for the hosts.
