HARRY BARNES

Oct. 29, 1929 - Jan. 15, 2012

It is with great sorrow that the family of Harry Barnes announces his passing on Jan. 15, 2012.

He is lovingly remembered by the family that he cherished: his wife of 60 years, Anne; daughters Christine (Harvey) Johnson and Michele (Dan) Bartley; his grandchildren: Lynsday (Dave) Hillier, Justin, David, Shane and Magin.

Predeceased by his sister, Joan.

A private family service will be held.

If desired, donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.

EVELYN HENDERSON

Evelyn Annabel Henderson (née Nesbitt), of Kincardine, died peacefully at home on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012, in her 85th year.

Beloved wife of the late Kelvin Henderson (1984).

Dear mother of Patricia Porter (Ken Willoughby), of Kincardine; and Joan Henderson, of London.

Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Jennifer (Chad) Creeden, Lori (Sean) O'Connor and Brian Hodgins; and by her great-grandchildren Grace and Ava O'Connor.

Predeceased by her son Ronald, sisters-in-law Alma Gillies and Eudora Owens, and brother-in-law Garnet Henderson.

Visitation was held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, 757 Princes Street, Kincardine  ON N2Z 1Z5 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012. The funeral service was held at 11 a.m. at Kincardine United Church on Monday, Jan. 23, 2012 with Rev. Don Harry officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Chad Creeden, Sean O'Connor, Chris Fleming, Brian Hodgins, Ken Willoughby and Dave Gibson. Flower bearers were Lori O'Connor, Jennifer Creeden, Valerie Gibson, Coralyn Morrison and Marilyn Husak.

Interment Kincardine Cemetery.

JOHN SCOTT

John Graham Scott, of Lucknow and formerly of R. R. #5,  Kincardine,  died at Pinecrest Manor in Lucknow on Friday, Jan. 20, 2012, in his 87th year.

Son of the late Thomas and Esther (née Lindsay) Scott.

Survived by his sister, Margaret Reid of Ottawa.

Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his sisters Esther Collins and Amelia Cummings, as well as by brothers Walter, Sam, Bill, Andrew and Robert Scott.

Visitation was held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home in Kincardine on Monday, Jan. 23, 2012 from 1p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m., with Pastor Kenneth Craig officiating.  Serving as pallbearers were Kenneth, Robert and Todd Scott; Douglas Orr, Kevin Osbourne and Kenneth Craig.

Interment Kincardine Cemetery.
