Attack knocks off Plymouth

Ripley's Garrett Meurs and the Plymouth Whalers were in Owen Sound last night to take on the Attack. Owen Sound led this contest from the early going, knocking off the #3 ranked team in the CHL by a 5-4 score despite a late push from the OHL Whalers. Hundreds of Kincardine and Ripley residents were at last night's game to see Meurs, a draft pick of the Colorado Avalanche. For full details see next week's print edition. (Richard Lawson photo)
