The KDSS junior boys soccer team earned a CWOSSA berth but not a BAA championship yesterday.

The Knights, who finished second overall in the BAA, met Sacred Heart in yesterday morning's semi-final match-up with Sacred Heart of Walkerton.

Kincardine needed penalty kicks to get past the Crusaders and advance to the BAA final yesterday afternoon agaainst the top seeded Walkerton District Secondary School Raiders.

WDSS scored four times and blanked the Knights to win the BAA junior boys soccer championship.

Both WDSS and KDSS qualify for CWOSSA, which will be held in Cambridge Nov. 6 and 7.

The junior girls playoffs are tomorrow, with KDSS playing against Sacred Heart in one of the semi-final games. The other will feature WDSS and West Hill Secondary School of Owen Sound. Like the boys, the top two teams earn a trip to CWOSSA.
