It is an unfortunate situation that the Kincardine Foodland supermarket will shut its doors to the public.
For the worthy employees who work at that establishment, Sobeys must do everything possible to insure the gainful employment of each and every one of them.
But the other people who deserve consideration are the loyal customers who need this store near their homes.
Sarah Stover, Communications Manager of Sobeys represented her company poorly and callously when she refused to address this very problematic situation with her mean spirited brush-off.
Perhaps she could use her communications skills by offering a shuttle service to the Sobeys store at specific times from the downtown area. And as Foodland was good enough to have orders delivered to those who need it, Ms. Stover could offer this same service from the mother store.
Kind thought and consideration for others would be both commendable practice and good business.
