The Kincardine District Secondary School junior girls soccer team earned a 1-0 win Tuesday afternoon at the Davidson Centre.

Sara Gossell scored the only goal of the game early in the contest.

Sacred Heart High School's biggest chance to tie the game came late in the second half on a penalty.

However, Morgan Padfield stopped the penalty to secure a shut out and give the Knights a 1-0 win.

The junior boys team was holding a 2-1 lead on the Crusaders at the half on the strength of a Derek Satosek goal.

It finished 4-2 for Kincardine.
